Its blueprint is scheduled to be presented to investors at the Invest Madhya Pradesh summit in Bhopal on February 24–25, 2025. The fare from Malviya Nagar to Gandhi Nagar is ₹65, compared with an estimated ₹150 for a Rapido bike ride, ₹250 for an auto and nearly ₹310 for a cab. The Metro Rail Corporation said passenger numbers towards Gandhi Nagar are rising and operating hours were revised in response to demand and feedback. First trains from both terminals depart at 7:30 am; the last service runs at 8:15 pm. The corridor has 16 stations, including Meghdoot Square, Bapat Square, Heera Nagar and ISBT. Some commuters have sought further fare cuts.
