How PropertyWala.com Works
Do I have to pay anything to use PropertyWala.com?
No. Registering, searching, contacting advertisers and posting your requirement are all free. Buyers and tenants never pay PropertyWala.com anything, not now and not when a deal is done.
Owners, brokers and builders can advertise for free, and can buy paid packages for more visibility and more enquiries (see "Are there paid ad packages?" below).
Is PropertyWala.com a broker or an agent? Does it charge commission or brokerage?
No. PropertyWala.com is an advertising platform that connects property buyers and sellers. It is not an agent or a broker, and it does not charge any commission or brokerage to buyers or sellers.
If you deal through a broker you found here, any brokerage is between you and the broker. Ask them what they charge, and when, before you visit a property or agree a deal.
How does it work if I am looking for a property?
There are two ways, and you can use both:
- Search the listings and contact the owner, broker or builder directly from any listing.
- Post your requirement: what you want, where, and your budget. Owners, brokers and builders with matching properties then get in touch with you.
You can also tell our WhatsApp assistant what you are looking for on +91 92122 21817, and it will search for you and post your requirement.
Are the listings and advertisers verified?
PropertyWala verifies the contact information of all advertisers, with a more detailed KYC (Know Your Customer) verification for all paid advertisers. All information in PropertyWala listings is provided by advertisers, or collected from publicly available sources, and should be verified independently before entering into any transaction.
For a new project, you can check its registration on the RERA website of the state it is in. Our project pages show the RERA number, status, details, portal link, etc., where available.

How do I sign up for a PropertyWala.com account?
Click "Sign in or Sign up" in the top right menu and enter your mobile number (an email address is optional). You will receive a 6-digit code (OTP) by SMS to sign in. Users from outside India do not get a code but can sign up with an email address and a password.
What if I have forgotten my password?
With an Indian mobile number a password is optional and you do not need it to sign in: just use the 6-digit code we send to your mobile by SMS. Otherwise, click "Forgot Password" when you are asked to sign in and follow the instructions to reset it.
Can I update my profile details?
Yes. Once you have signed in, you can edit your profile from your account dashboard.
Is my personal information safe on PropertyWala.com?
Yes. We take data privacy seriously and use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
How do I correct or delete my details?
You can edit most of your profile yourself from your account dashboard. To correct something you cannot do from your account dashboard, or to delete your account, contact us.
Looking for a Property
How do I post my requirement?
Click "Save Search" on any search results page, and tell us what you are looking for, where, and your budget. It is free. We will alert you when matching properties are posted, and owners, brokers and builders with matching properties can contact you.
What if no property matches my requirement?
Try widening your search: a nearby locality, a different property type or a slightly different budget. Then click "Save Search" on the results page to post your requirement: we will alert you by email and SMS when a matching property is posted, and advertisers with a match can contact you.
Can I contact property owners or brokers directly?
Yes. Use the contact form on any listing to reach the advertiser by phone, email or message. When you use the contact form on a listing, only the advertiser of that listing sees your contact information.
Who will contact me after I post my requirement?
Owners, brokers and builders with matching properties may call or message you.
How do I stop calls and messages?
- WhatsApp: tap our business name in the chat and choose "Stop marketing messages", or tell our assistant you no longer want messages.
- SMS and email: Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. You can also manage your email and SMS subscriptions from the Subscriptions page in your account dashboard.
An advertiser who already has your number may still call; ask them directly to stop.
I saw a property in an ad or a reel. How do I find it?
If it is a project, you can search for it on the project search page by name and city. Or you can search our property listings by any criteria through our property search page. You can also message our WhatsApp assistant on +91 92122 21817 with whatever you remember - the project or builder, the area, the price - and it will look for it.
Am I chatting with a person on WhatsApp?
No. Our WhatsApp chat on +91 92122 21817 is answered by PropertyWala AI, our AI assistant. It replies straight away, at any hour, in the language you write in - English, Hindi or another Indian language - and it can:
- Find properties: search our live listings to buy or rent by city, locality, budget, BHK and property type, and send you the links.
- Look up projects: find projects by name, city, locality or construction stage, and tell you a project's details.
- Tell you about an area: what our listings, price trends over the past few years, projects, reviews and recent news say about a locality or city.
- Contact advertisers for you: send your enquiry to the owners, brokers or builders of the listings you choose.
- Post your requirement: so that owners, brokers and builders with matching properties can get in touch with you.
- Answer questions about PropertyWala.com and how it works.
- Stop messages: if you ask it to, it stops messaging you.
If you would like to speak to a person - to arrange a call, for example - just say so, and it will pass your request to our team, who will get back to you (Mon-Fri, 9 am-6 pm).
Advertising Your Property
How can I advertise my property on PropertyWala.com?
Post your property for free at propertywala.com/start, or visit our Advertise page to see all the options. Once your listing is live, you will get enquiries from people interested in your property.
Is it free to list my property?
Yes. You can post 1 free listing per day, up to 25 live listings. Beyond that you can disable existing listings to post more or buy a paid listing package.
Can I post more than one property under one account?
Yes, you can post several properties from a single account.
Are there paid ad packages?
Yes. PropertyWala.com offers paid packages that give your listings more visibility and better placement, and bring more enquiries. See the Advertise page, or contact our sales team at advertise@propertywala.com or 0120 4331078 for current plans and offers.
Can I cancel a paid package or get a refund?
You can cancel PropertyWala.com services anytime by contacting us through the Contact page on our website. Payments for PropertyWala services once subscribed are non-refundable. However, we realize that there may be some exceptional circumstances where a refund may be appropriate. PropertyWala may, at its sole discretion, provide pro-rated refunds for services that have not been fully rendered. Please see our Refund Policy for details.
How long does my listing stay live?
A listing stays live for 90 days, after which it expires. You can repost your listing anytime from the PropertyWala dashboard to extend it.
