Mahim is a decent locality to live. It is very convenient for people working in BKC or Lower Parel. It is five minutes drive from Lilavati hospital, and when you connect from Bandra worli sea link, you reach soon.

Mahim falls under the western railways. There are a lot of food stalls here. Important landmarks over here are St. Michael's Church, Makhdoom Ali Mahimi Dargah, Paradise Cinema, Shitladevi Temple, Hinduja Hospital, Mahim Fort, Mahim Bunder, Xavier Institute of Engineering, S.L. Raheja Hospital, Canossa Convent High School, St. Michael's High School.
