Malad is served by Line 2A and Line 7 stations, with access and travel times varying across its western and eastern neighbourhoods.

  • Malad West (Motilal Oswal Malad West), in Ekta Nagar, is on Line 2A and opened on 19 January 2023. It was renamed after a 2024 naming-rights deal. Walking takes 15–20 minutes for much of the area; an auto ride takes 5–8 minutes. The station has paid parking, frequent autos and share-autos, and BEST connections to Malad East via the railway subway.
  • Kurar, on Line 7, is roughly 1–1.5 km from Malad East. It opened in April 2022; autos and BEST routes serve nearby residential lanes and the industrial estate.
  • Dindoshi, also on Line 7, is roughly 1.5–2 km away, serving areas near Pathan Wadi and MBH Colony; it was inaugurated in April 2022.
  • Lower Malad is roughly 1–1.5 km away near Prem Nagar and the Goregaon border. Dahanukarwadi serves Malad’s northern edge near Kandivali.
  • From South Mumbai or Churchgate, a fast Western Railway local takes about 40 minutes. From Andheri, metro connections take around 25–30 minutes; from Borivali or Kandivali, Line 2A or Line 7 takes under 15 minutes.
