Notandas Realty, promoted by the Jagwani family and part of Mahesh Notandass Jewellers Group, purchased Villa Wilson in Juhu for ₹135 crore in a deal registered July 13, 2026. The property is located in Kapole Co-operative Housing Society near actor Amitabh Bachchan's residence Jalsa.

This acquisition follows Notandas Realty's purchase of the heritage Leela bungalow on Juhu Tara Road for ₹221 crore earlier in 2026. The 6BHK Art Deco residence built in 1950s was owned by Nanavati family, promoters of Nanavati Hospital, and sold through bidding process. The Leela property measures 1,355 sq metres with built-up area of 8,480.68 sq ft, translating to ₹2,60,592 per sq ft based on built-up area or ₹1,51,525 per sq ft based on total plot area.

Andheri West transaction: Rikant Pittie, CEO and co-founder of EaseMyTrip, purchased apartment in DLF The Westpark project for Rs 15.9 crore. Transaction registered November 14, 2025, with Westpark Developers Private Limited and Sahyog Homes Limited. RERA carpet area 2,078.77 sq ft at Rs 76,500 per sq ft (among highest in Andheri West micro-market). Total area with balcony 2,240.85 sq ft at Rs 70,967 per sq ft. Includes three covered car parking spaces.

Juhu transaction: Cricketer Shubman Gill purchased luxury apartment in Pooja Luminaire on Juhu Tara Road for Rs 20.7 crore. Registered March 26, 2026. Unit on 12th floor, seller Pooja Leisure & Lifestyle (partners include film producer Vashu Bhagnani, Pooja Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani). RERA carpet area 3,369 sq ft at Rs 61,442 per sq ft. Stamp duty Rs 1.24 crore.

Social media post by Sachin Patankar highlighted broken and exposed gutters along Juhu Tara Road, showing at least four to five damaged sections posing risks to pedestrians and motorists. User questioned why no action was taken despite visible hazards and who would be accountable if an accident occurred. Patankar alleged similar issues persist in Santa Cruz East for six months without resolution. He questioned utilization of taxpayer money amid basic infrastructure failures. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) responded stating it regretted the inconvenience, alerted concerned H/West ward officials to inspect and address the issue, and assured necessary action would be taken. User responded that previous complaints had received replies but no action was ever taken.
