Accenture leases 272,000 sq ft office space at Centaurus in Hiranandani Estate, Thane. The space comprises three contiguous floors with capacity for around 2,500-3,000 employees. Lease value: ₹269 crore.

House of Hiranandani leased 2.72 lakh sq ft of Grade-A office space to Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd at Centaurus commercial tower in Hiranandani Estate township, Thane. Monthly rental: ₹1.9 crore. Lease term: 10 years. Total payment over tenure: ₹269 crore. Centaurus is a 21-storey tower with 1.9 million sq ft built-up area. Currently hosts TCS, BNP Paribas, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Bayer CropScience, and WeWork. Hiranandani Estate is a 375-acre township. JLL India facilitated the deal. House of Hiranandani, founded by Surendra Hiranandani, has projects in Mumbai, Thane, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad with over 51 million sq ft delivered.

Residents of Hiranandani Estate in Thane launched an online campaign expressing concern over a last-minute modified alignment of the Thane internal ring metro project cutting through their area.

Residents claimed authorities failed to consult locals or elected representatives before modifying the route. MahaMetro, executing the project, recently began geotechnical surveys for Phase I between Vijay Nagari and Patlipada. Following the surveys, residents discovered the revised route cuts through their locality on Wednesday.

Residents stated they were shocked to see barricades being put up, expecting the metro to take a different route.

The proposed Thane Integral Ring Metro Railway Project alignment through Hiranandani Estate and Gladys Alwares Road is unlikely to change. Residents raised concerns about increased congestion near residential complexes, noting the revised alignment passes through a road opposite Rodas Enclave and proposed a station near Eden Woods complex entrance. Mahametro officials stated the route was approved by Thane Municipal Corporation in 2018. While station locations can be reconsidered, any alignment change requires fresh approvals including environmental clearances. The 29-km circular metro project was approved by Union Cabinet in 2024 at estimated cost of Rs 12,200 crore. It is expected to improve connectivity across Thane and integrate with Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 5, targeted for completion by 2029.

Mahametro is executing the Thane Integral Ring Metro Railway Project. The proposed route will pass through the dense Hiranandani Estate area and Gladys Alwares Road. Mahametro is unlikely to modify the route but has agreed to consider relocating stations in these areas. Residents were hoping for route changes to avoid congestion outside their homes. After a joint meeting with residents, elected representatives and Mahametro officials, residents have written to the Mahametro MD and municipal commissioner requesting fresh intervention. The route is constrained by the Coastal Road.
