Peddar Road area is a very nice cosmopolitan area. It has good schools, hospitals, mahalaxmi temple is close by famous cadbury house is very close too. Shopping mall here is in walking distance and of course Haji Ali Dargah is also very close.

Peddar road is known as Gopalrao deshmukh marg. It is the most posh locality in Mumbai. Real estate residential prices are generally above 100000 psf here. Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar are one of the few prominent residents here. Jaslok hospital is located here. Sophia college is located here. Films division of India is situated here.
