Nanganallur so called Temple city, all roads in and around Nanganallur is good. Very decent and loyal locality, now this area as been included in Chennai corporation zonal 12.

Nanganallur is a Temple City of Chennai. Full of Brahmin locality. High Class society. Plenty of buses to Tambaram, Guduvanchery, Mount Road, Paris, T.Nagar and all over the places. Train services every 5/10 minutes available.

Nanganallur is one of the best places to stay as it is an eco friendly, secure place. Maybe few of the inner roads need a replacements which will hopefully been done soon. There are lots of temples at the Nanganallur localities making it more suitable for hindus.

Very good and close to locations like Airport, Railway station. Lots of temples nearby, like the famous Hanuman temple. Schools, colleges, hospitals, markets, retails stores, transport facilities available. Good ground water and Palar water available. Underground drainage available. 3 kms to Velacherry, Madipakkam and 4 kms to Pathipara junction and Airport GST road. Very centralized location.

Chennai Metro Rail has not completed the second entry and exit at OTA-Nanganallur Road Metro station, more than a year after announcing it. The station, on the 54-km Wimco Nagar–Chennai Airport corridor, had only one access point; the new facility will serve passengers travelling from Chennai Airport towards Alandur. Chennai Metro Rail acquired land in August last year and allocated 364 sq. metres for the structure. It awarded an ₹8.52 crore contract, with completion due in eight months. Work began a few months ago but faced construction challenges because of the site’s proximity to the Officers’ Training Academy and interface issues. The work may take another six months. About 3,000 passengers board or alight at the station, and without the second access point they must take a detour.
