HYDRAA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency) enforcement actions across multiple locations:

Sumarakunta Lake, Dulapally: Removed illegal constructions over 11 acres within Full Tank Level (FTL) of the 42-acre lake in Dundigal–Gandimaisamma mandal, Medchal–Malkajgiri district. Structures removed included scrap shops, temporary hotel sheds, container fabrication units and welding shops. Encroachers had illegally filled soil, erected boundary walls and constructed sheds. Only seasonal agriculture permitted in 'shikam patta' lands within FTL when no water; construction, soil filling and fencing strictly prohibited to prevent monsoon flooding.

Borabanda: Reclaimed 3.20 acres of government land (Survey No. 128/1, Yusufguda village, Khairatabad mandal) acquired under Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) Act. Attempts made to grab 3,600 square yards using forged ULC clearance documents. Temporary sheds and sand/brick commercial activities removed. Case registered against Sharif Khan. Area fenced to prevent future encroachments.

Nagaram: Protected 1,365 square yards of Shiva temple land at Ramakrishna Nagar Colony (HMT Layout), Keesara mandal, Medchal–Malkajgiri district. Temple constructed 2017 on 400 square yards; remaining land vacant with encroachment attempts. HYDRAA verified ownership with revenue and local authorities, installed boundary boards marking temple property.

Telangana High Court expressed serious concern over proliferation of liquor outlets in residential neighbourhoods. Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy issued notices to Prohibition & Excise Commissioner, Nagaram Municipality Commissioner, and licence holder S. Pavan Reddy over a wine shop in Sri Satyanarayana Colony, Nagaram, Medchal–Malkajgiri district. Allegations include illegal temporary structures being erected on open plots. Court stressed liquor shops must conceal displays from public view in residential zones. Petition filed by P. Kaveri on behalf of Sri Satyanarayana Colony Welfare Association contended the shop would disturb public peace and compromise community safety. Earlier representation seeking relocation was rejected by Excise Commissioner. Justice Vijaysen Reddy remarked that if trend continued, the state might need a new identity. Court cited previous Nanakramguda case where wine shop opposite gated community of nearly 1,000 families caused persistent disturbances. Suggested formulating clear signage policy for wine shops. All respondents directed to file counter-affidavits within two weeks.

Telangana high court on Monday questioned the state government on what basis pattadar passbooks were issued to private parties when the land parcels in survey numbers 194 and 195 in Nagaram were disputed.

The ED investigation into alleged fraudulent sale of Bhoodan lands as private lands in Nagaram village, Maheshwaram mandal, Ranga Reddy district, revealed "deep-rooted conspiracy" and "use of forged documents". Manipulation of records at Tahsil, Mandal, District and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration offices resulted in alienation of government land. ED recorded statement of writ petitioner Birla Mallesh under Section 50 of PMLA regarding lands under survey no. 194 of Nagaram village. Mallesh's complaint was forwarded to Telangana DGP under Section 66 of PMLA on November 8, 2024, with no response till date. No PMLA action initiated for survey nos. 194 and 195 as no police case registered. Following private complaint by Dastagir Shareef, Maheshwaram police registered case against Khaderunnisa and others for survey nos. 181 and 182, prompting ED to issue Enforcement Case Information Report. No ECIR issued for survey nos. 194 and 195. Writ petitioner alleged senior IAS and IPS officers purchased lands in Nagaram under survey nos. 194 and 195. High Court issued notices to bureaucrats for counter affidavits; officers sought stay but division bench instructed them to file objections before single judge.

A group of senior IPS officers—Ravi Gupta, Tarun Joshi, Renu Goyal, BK Rahul Hegde, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, Sowmya Mishra, Swathi Lakra, and Rekha Sharaf—filed three writ appeals before Telangana High Court challenging an April 24, 2025 single judge order.

The single judge had ordered status quo on land transactions for Survey Nos. 181, 182, 194 and 195 in Nagaram village, Maheshwaram mandal, Rangareddy district, following a writ petition by Birla Mahesh alleging large-scale fraudulent activity. Mahesh claimed forgery of documents, manipulation of official records and illegal transfer of over 26 acres of government and Bhoodan land, allegedly involving high-ranking IAS and IPS officers colluding with local revenue and registration officials.

Appellants contended the order was passed ex-parte without notice to affected parties, violating natural justice principles. They argued no grounds justified such a sweeping order when the main relief sought was limited to non-consideration of representations dated February 19 and March 10, 2025, and progress reports on ongoing investigation. The officers claimed court observations on fraudulent activity at this preliminary stage caused irreversible damage to their rights and went beyond the scope of the original petition.

The Directorate of Enforcement seized incriminating documents related to fraudulent sale and purchase of government and Bhoodan land, Rs 23 lakh in currency and 12,000 UAE Dirhams.
