Hyderabad Sold 26,100 Homes in First Half of 2026, CREDAI Says

Hyderabad recorded more than 26,100 home sales in the first half of 2026, CREDAI said at its three-day property show.

Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju inaugurated the three-day CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show 2026 at the Hitex Exhibition Centre on August 29. The event, themed “Rate Aagadhu, Demand Thaggadhu”, runs until August 30 and showcases more than 300 RERA-approved projects from over 60 developers.
CREDAI Hyderabad said more than 26,100 homes were sold in Hyderabad in the first half of 2026, covering nearly 60 million sq. ft. of super built-up area. The average home size was around 2,300 sq. ft., and the average ticket size rose 10% year-on-year to ₹2.03 crore.
CREDAI Hyderabad president N. Jaideep Reddy asked the government to resolve pending issues over the 10% building-permit mortgage and the NALA-linked component. He sought removal of the mortgage in view of RERA, or its reduction to 5%, and clarity on allowing NALA fees to be paid with building approvals.
