Greater Noida authority has decided to build a 4km elevated road from Tilapta intersection to Container Depot in Dadri to address heavy traffic congestion on this stretch.

Daily commuters on GT Road between Ghaziabad's Lal Kuan and Dadri face severe congestion, particularly at Chaudhary More, New Bus Stand and railway crossing, with journey times of 45 minutes to one hour.

Proposed 12-km elevated road corridor, estimated at Rs 650 crore, part of wider GT Road redevelopment plan. Detailed Project Report and survey completed by Setu Nigam. Proposal pushed by Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg and sent to Uttar Pradesh government for approval.

Elevated road would allow through traffic to bypass busy intersections while local vehicles use surface road below. Expected to reduce travel time to 15-20 minutes, cutting commute by nearly one hour daily. Will reduce delays at four major signals.

Corridor would improve connectivity between Ghaziabad, Crossings Republik, Greater Noida West and Dadri Road, benefiting industrial hubs in Surajpur, Kot and Dadri. Also expected to reduce pressure on Delhi-Meerut Expressway service lanes.

GT Road connects Delhi with Ghaziabad; traffic from Delhi, Seelampur, Sahibabad, Mohan Nagar and Ghanta Ghar converges at Lal Kuan. Heavy industrial traffic moves towards Dadri NTPC, Kot and nearby areas.

Infrastructure improvement expected to boost residential demand. Current property prices: 2BHK homes below Rs 45 lakh in Dadri; 2BHK and 3BHK apartments below Rs 65 lakh in Lal Kuan and Crossings Republik.

Project awaiting state government approval. Preliminary work includes land acquisition, encroachment removal and utility shifting. Construction expected to begin within next year, developed in phases.

The Noida authority has begun reconstructing a 4.5-km Dadri road stretch under the Bhangel Elevated Corridor to improve traffic flow for thousands of commuters. The project cost is ₹35 crore, executed by UP State Bridge Corporation Limited (UPSBCL), with completion targeted for June 2026. The road was damaged during Bhangel elevated road construction, which has now been completed and opened to public. The stretch provides access beneath the elevated corridor to Bhangel and Salarpur markets on both sides of Dadri Road. Commercial activity in these areas was severely affected for nearly four years due to broken roads and prolonged construction, forcing several traders to shift businesses. The agreement for the elevated corridor construction stipulated that UPSBCL would build the road beneath the structure. After a recent meeting between Noida authority officials and bridge corporation representatives, UPSBCL decided to execute the construction. Traders hope improved connectivity and smoother traffic will revive the area's commercial character. Additionally, plans are in place to construct entry and exit loops at the Sector 49–107 junction with an estimated cost of around ₹45 crore. Two loops proposed on each side: vehicles from Sector 37 towards 7X sectors descend via a loop near Hanuman statue; traffic from 7X sectors towards Phase-2 and Surajpur uses an upward loop. Additional loops proposed for traffic to and from Sector 107. Separate tenders will be issued for loop construction.

Built at a cost of Rs 608.08 crore, the Agahpur-NSEZ elevated road stretch is 4.5 km long. The project is intended to ease congestion on the corridor connecting Noida with Greater Noida, Dadri and Surajpur. The road has opened for trial operations.
