Phase-II: 4-km stretch from Police Command and Control Centre at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 to Hakimpet Kunta. Six ramps proposed at Film Nagar, Nane Road, Jubilee Hills Road No. 52, ITC Kohenur Road, T-Hub Junction and Mindspace area. Structure planned to accommodate potential Metro Rail corridor in future. Detailed Project Report prepared. Limited land acquisition required. Survey already completed.

• HYDRAA and the revenue department carried out demolition drives across Hyderabad on Friday.
• At Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, officials protected 5 acres of government land worth over ₹750 crore.
• Of this, 1.2 acres had earlier been allotted to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB).
• Officials said a private individual, Parthasaradhi, fraudulently claimed the entire parcel using a fabricated survey number.
• The original survey number was 403; the fake number used was 403/52.
• The claim was based on an unregistered sale deed.
• Temporary sheds were demolished, fencing was removed, and signboards were installed marking the land as government property.
• The agency also said it reclaimed 3.5 acres of encroached parkland and roadways at Gajularamaram in Quthbullapur, within a 13-acre layout developed in 2005 for AG office employees.
• The recovered land there has been fenced.
• At Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Colony in Tattiannaram, Abdullapurmet mandal, 270 sq. yds out of a 680 sq. yd park site had been encroached upon; HYDRAA cleared all illegal structures after confirming the entire site was parkland.

• The Telangana High Court declined to intervene in a dispute over 7 acres of land in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
• The court cited complex title issues and directed the parties to approach the civil court.
• The matter concerns land in one of Hyderabad’s prime real estate localities.

• GHMC officials sealed the gates of Taj Banjara Hotel on Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, for unpaid property tax of Rs 1.43 crore.
• The hotel made a partial payment after the sealing action.
• The report says the action was taken by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Wednesday.

• Taj Banjara Hotel near Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, was sealed on February 20, 2025 by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials for property tax default.
• Revenue wing officials said the hotel management had defaulted on Rs. 1.43 crore in property tax for two years.
• Officials from Jubilee Hills Circle reportedly visited the hotel and locked all three gates after pasting notices on the doors.
• Notices had been sent over the previous two months seeking clearance of dues, but payment was not made.
• On February 21, 2025 morning, part of the dues, up to Rs. 55 lakh, was cleared and the hotel was reopened.
• Officials said an assurance was given that the remaining dues would be cleared by March 10.
• The hotel is owned by Taj Group of Hotels, headquartered in Mumbai.
