Uppal–Narapally Elevated Corridor Targeted for Dasara 2026 Completion

The 8-km Uppal–Narapally elevated corridor is scheduled for completion by Dasara 2026, while officials are also prioritising a 1.4-km Uppal–DSL Mall flyover.
Key facts
Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the 8-km Uppal–Narapally elevated corridor will be completed by Dasara 2026. Launched in 2017, the project was delayed by financial and administrative issues. The government replaced the earlier contractor and is monitoring progress. The corridor is expected to ease traffic for commuters travelling to Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and Warangal. Venkat Reddy reviewed progress during a site inspection with Uppal MLA Bandaru Lakshma Reddy and officials; he also said discussions had taken place with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. The minister reviewed plans for a 1.4-km Uppal–DSL Mall flyover with GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan and directed officials to prioritise it. A review meeting with senior officials, including the Special Chief Secretary (TR&B) and chief engineers, is planned for both projects.
