Traffic diversions from the ongoing Uppal–Narapally elevated corridor works are spilling into colony roads and residential lanes around Uppal X roads and surrounding areas.

Commute times have increased substantially: a journey from Uppal to Boduppal that took five minutes now takes 15 minutes. A commuter from Ramanthapur to Turkayamjal reported heavy traffic at 6 a.m., taking over 10 minutes to cross a stretch normally taking four or five minutes.

Three-way diversion system in operation: Survey of India road towards Beerappagadda lane carries 50–60% of diverted traffic; Uppal Bhagayath and Nalla Cheruvu road is another route; Habsiguda–Nacharam–NFC corridor is being used by navigation app users.

Worst-affected stretches: Raghavendra Colony Road, Laxma Reddy Colony Road, old Sub-Registrar office lane, and Beerappagadda road, with congestion extending into late evenings.

Business impact: Walk-in customers have dropped noticeably. A mobile phone store on Boduppal Main Road reported customers avoiding the stretch, with journey times from Boduppal to Uppal increasing from five minutes to 15 minutes.

Parking issues: Residents parking hurriedly along roadsides to save time before catching the Metro, choking narrow bylanes. Evening hours see additional 10–15 minutes of traffic delays.

Traffic Inspector G. Nagaraju stated the authorised diversion adds approximately 0.5 km and 2–3 minutes of travel time, but some commuters are driving in opposite direction attempting to save time, causing temporary choke points.

Telangana Housing Board (TGHB) generated Rs 91.34 crore on 31 July 2025 through:

KPHB Phase 4 land auction: One-acre open commercial plot at Flat No 1 sold for Rs 65.34 crore in online e-auction to Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Auction received 11 bids with 4 active participants in final round.

Rajiv Swagruha flats: 131 flats allocated out of 159 available units in Bandlaguda and Nagole locations, generating Rs 26 crore. Flats sold at affordable rates to middle-class families through lottery-based allocation system.

Telangana Housing Board conducted e-auction of one-acre plot in KPHB Phase IV, Hyderabad. Plot purchased by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for ₹65.34 crore. Auction received 11 bids from four bidders.

Separately, TGHB generated ₹26 crore allotting Rajiv Swagruha flats in Bandlaguda, Nagole for middle income segment via lottery. 159 applications received; 131 flats allotted.
