Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced formation of high-level committee via G.O.Rt. No. 564 to resolve Section 22-A property issues. CCLA D.S. Lokesh Kumar chairs; Law Secretary Papi Reddy and IG Stamps and Registration Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu are members.

Committee will examine pending cases for: properties in prohibited list under Section 22-A Registration Act 1908; plot registrations in approved layouts; properties in Singareni coal belt; cases under G.O.Ms. No. 59 (February 2014); leasehold to freehold conversions in Secunderabad.

Regularisation of 9,700 plots in L.B. Nagar constituency announced: 9,792 applications received under GO 118. CCLA and District Collectors of Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgiri ordered to process all applications within one month. Regularisation process commences September 19.

GO 76 regularising house sites in Singareni region was issued during Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy tenure. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka led meeting with MLAs to launch regularisation process. Decision on removing areas from 22-A list expected. Decisions on 10-12 previously outlined issues to be taken within one month.

Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation launched enforcement drive on 17 September 2026 against unauthorised constructions in Uppal, Kapra and LB Nagar zones following deaths in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli on 22 August.

Demolitions and removals:

• Uppal: rooms converted from stilt-floor parking at Beerappa/Prashanthi Nagar Colony Road No. 2; unauthorised balcony encroaching towards road
• Rampally, Ghatkesar Circle: unauthorised commercial shed removed
• Dharani Colony, Medipally village, Boduppal Circle: centring for unauthorised penthouse dismantled, construction halted
• Gayatri Hills Colony, Miyapur village, Boduppal Circle: unauthorised shed removed
• Kapra Circle: unauthorised rooms in stilt-floor parking at Plot 236/C, Padmashali Township, AS Rao Nagar demolished; parking space to be restored per approved plan
• LB Nagar Zone: unauthorised third and fourth floors demolished in Lalitha Nagar and Gaddiannaram, Saroornagar; rooms in stilt-floor parking removed; unauthorised third and fourth floors demolished in Maitri Nagar Colony under LB Nagar Circle

Building owners and developers directed to follow municipal permissions and sanctioned building plans. Officials stated enforcement would continue to protect parking, public spaces, prevent road encroachments and ensure orderly urban development.

Deep excavation under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP) near Bairamalguda in L.B. Nagar has continued for months despite monsoon, reducing Sagar road's carriageway to a narrow stretch. The bottleneck affects traffic from B.N. Reddy Nagar and Hastinapuram towards Bairamalguda and L.B. Nagar junction, connecting Outer Ring Road with the city. Commuters report traffic stalled for 15-20 minutes daily. The stretch is a prominent bus route serving Ibrahimpatnam and surrounding areas, ferrying college students, office-goers and daily wage labourers. Road is barricaded on and off up to Karmanghat. Civic authorities imposed a ban on road cutting permissions ahead of monsoon but it is not adhered to for municipal corporation civil works. SNDP engineering officials stated works pertain to a storm water drain from Sagar road to Bairamalguda Lake, delayed by prior work taking longer than expected. Manholes are being cast, completion expected within a week.

• BRS deputy floor leader T Harish Rao accused the Congress government of trying to divert nearly 200 acres allotted for the Koheda fruit market in Hyderabad.
• He warned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy against shifting the project and alleged the land could be handed to political cronies.
• Harish Rao said land was available and Rs 350 crore had already been allocated, but construction had not started.
• He said the earlier BRS government envisioned a world-class integrated market with fruit, flower and fish storage and sale facilities.
• According to him, land acquisition was completed, compensation paid, funds deposited and a DPR prepared for a Rs 1,000-crore project.
• He cited legal hurdles and High Court stay orders against shifting the market to disputed DILL (Deccan Infrastructure and Land Holdings Limited) lands.
• He alleged plans to transfer Koheda fruit market land to TGIIC for eventual allocation to private players.
• BRS leader P. Sabitha Indra Reddy said the government was eyeing prime Koheda and Nadargul land to generate nearly Rs 10,000 crore.
• LB Nagar MLA D. Sudheer Reddy said 170 acres were acquired and a Rs 350-crore project approved when the market was shifted from Gaddiannaram to Koheda to reduce congestion and pollution.
• He said the current government was trying to repurpose the land for food processing units.
• Former MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy said the land was acquired solely for the fruit market and alleged attempts to monetise it.
