Allottees of ATS Kinghood Drive, a commercial project in Sector 152, filed objections with Noida Authority against ATS’s revised Sports City layout. They allege it proposes commercial activity at nine locations even though Kinghood Drive has already used the project’s 4% commercial allocation.

Kinghood Drive has a sanctioned area of 19,844 sqm; the ATS Sports City plot spans 5,06,401 sqm. Shops were booked in 2016, but the project is 60% complete and allottees have waited 10 years for their units. It is proposed to have nearly 200 high-street shops across three floors.

Noida Authority invited objections and suggestions for 15 days on revised Sports City layouts submitted by Logix Infra Developers for Sector 150, 3C Green Construction for sectors 78-79, and ATS Homes for Sector 152. The proposals follow a November 2025 Supreme Court order and could offer fresh hope to nearly 20,000 homebuyers. Developers have promised to complete sports facilities within three years and residences within five.

Logix’s 9,86,604 sqm layout reserves 70% for sports, 28% for group housing and 2% for commercial use. Proposed facilities include tennis courts; an indoor hall for gymnastics, table tennis, squash, basketball, volleyball and rock climbing; a swimming and cricket academy; a golf course; and a medicine centre. 3C’s 6,63,001 sqm plan allocates 70% to sports, 28% to housing and 2% to commercial use. ATS’s 5,06,401 sqm plan allocates 70% to sports, 26% to residential and 4% to commercial use.

Noida Authority halted development-related activity across Sports City projects on January 18, 2021, following a 2019 CAG report flagging housing priority, missing approvals and other violations.

Noida Authority approved a roughly 500-metre flyover across the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, linking the Sector 148-side service road with the 45-metre road leading to Sector 150. The estimated cost is around ₹85 crore. The crossing, with loops planned at both ends, would provide an alternative to the existing underpass near Safipur village, which faces peak-hour congestion and monsoon waterlogging.

Sectors 148 and 150 are the main beneficiaries; Sectors 149, 151, 152 and 153 are also expected to see improved movement. Officials estimate around two lakh people across the affected sectors and residents of about 20 nearby villages could benefit. Residential development in Sector 150 and activity around Sports City are expected to increase traffic demand.

Preparations have begun, but detailed design and the DPR are still being worked out. No tender, construction-start date or completion date has been announced. The flyover would supplement, not replace, the underpass; its final alignment may change during design.

Noida Authority approved apartment registries, group housing maps, revised master plan layouts and other permissions for four Sports City projects in sectors 78, 79, 151 and 152, lifting bans imposed in 2021. The decision follows a November 24, 2025 Supreme Court order on Lotus Green Constructions’ SC-02 project in Sector 150; its occupancy certificate is being issued and registrations will start immediately. The board cancelled decisions made at its 201st and 202nd meetings and accepted Lotus Green’s resolution plan with conditions, including a “zero period” waiver for March 1, 2020–March 31, 2022 and January 18, 2021 until revised Master Plan revalidation. Developers have three years to build sports facilities and five years to complete realty projects. Under the scheme, 70% of allotted land is for sports facilities and 30% for housing. Land was allotted between 2011 and 2014. Around 60 firms, including Tata, Godrej and Lotus Greens, have projects stuck in SC-02. CREDAI’s western UP chapter cited 8,000 buyers awaiting registration and 10,000 new home-buyers who would benefit.
