Noida Authority restores Sikka Infrastructure rehab policy benefits

Noida Authority approved restoring stalled project policy benefits to Sikka Infrastructure for Sector 143B housing after Rs 252 crore dues dispute.

Key facts

Noida Authority board granted in-principle approval to restore benefits under state government's legacy stalled project policy for Sikka Infrastructure's Sector 143B group housing project, Sikka Karnam Greens. Relief takes effect only after builder withdraws pending revision petition before state government. Authority had previously revoked all stalled project policy benefits and issued recovery certificate (RC) to recover dues of approximately Rs 252 crore. Under new decision, RC will be withdrawn once Sikka fulfils conditions including case withdrawal. Authority will reissue permission to mortgage (PTM) to SWAMIH Investment Fund, central government-backed stress fund for reviving delayed housing projects. This allows Sikka to raise funds from SWAMIH to clear land dues and complete long-stalled project.
