Rajendra Nagar which is located close to Hindon Air force station , Mohan Nagar , has most great geographical location close to Delhi. It is hardly 2 KM away from Dilshad Garden Metro station and same metro line is extended along the GT road and going to Ghaziabad. Recently 24 hrs electricity supply by UP govt turned this area most favorable for people who are seeking property in this area.
A great opportunity for the investers and also for end users.

Former Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation councillors Rajendra Tyagi, Himanshu Mittal and Anil Swami, with social activists, complained to the Uttar Pradesh chief minister, chief secretary and urban development department about the revised property-tax structure, effective April 1, 2025. It uses updated rental values and applies to more than 600,000 properties.

Rental-value factors have risen from ₹0.96–₹1.45 to ₹3.50–₹4. Annual tax is calculated using covered area, monthly rental value per square foot and 12.

Tyagi said a previous board resolution allowed 10% rental-value increases every two years through March 31, 2025, and alleged the new structure was enforced from April 1, 2024, contrary to that resolution. Councillors said Ghaziabad’s rates exceed those in Meerut, Saharanpur, Prayagraj, Agra and Aligarh, and may take the matter to the high court. They sought age-based rebates of 25%–40% under the UP Municipal Corporation Act and recovery of government departments’ unpaid dues. Property tax comprises house tax (10%), sewage/drainage tax (4%) and water tax (10%). Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik said on April 9 that new properties would be assessed at revised rates; older properties would shift during four-year revision cycles, or immediately if under-assessed or structurally altered.

Including non-tax revenue such as advertising and licensing fees, the corporation collected about ₹352 crore in 2023-24 and expected around ₹600 crore in 2024-25. Its approved 2025-26 budget is ₹3,722 crore, up from ₹2,465 crore in 2024-25, ₹1,684 crore in 2023-24 and ₹1,417 crore in 2022-23. A former councillor called for completed ward development works and pending infrastructure-development funds to be disclosed.
