The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) approved a three-lane RCC bridge over the Hawalia drain near the Sector P-3 roundabout, replacing an old, narrow structure. The irrigation department will carry out the work at an estimated cost of ₹7 crore. The bridge will be 25 metres long and 10.5 metres wide, with its height raised by at least three metres to match the existing bridge connecting the P-3 roundabout with Omega 1.

The project is expected to improve travel between Knowledge Park, the Noida Expressway, Pari Chowk, Swarn Nagari and the Yamuna Expressway. GNIDA’s CEO gave final approval, and senior manager Manoj Sachan said an MoU had been signed with the irrigation department. Its headquarters’ approval is pending before tendering. Officials expect completion within one year. The existing road flooded with sewer water during the recent monsoon; the old bridge is low, narrow and unsafe, and congestion is common during peak hours.

Godrej Properties emerged as highest bidder for 4.95-acre residential land parcel in Sector 151, Noida for ₹331.75 crore. Proposed residential project expected to have revenue potential of over ₹2,000 crore.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Lucknow Zonal Office, attached 389 immovable properties valued at Rs 240.03 crore (present market value over Rs 700 crore) belonging to Bhasin Infra under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

Director Satinder Singh Bhasin launched the Grand Venezia Commercial Complex at Surajpur, Greater Noida, and induced investors with false assurances of returns and timely possession. After collecting substantial sums, neither possession was delivered nor refunds made to hundreds of investors.

Customer advances were routed through related Bhasin Group entities including Niche Builders & Contractors Pvt. Ltd. to obscure money trail, then used to acquire high-value real estate in Goa. The 4,25,152 sq. ft. of commercial space (384 units) was diverted using forged and back-dated agreements to place assets beyond reach of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process pending before NCLT.

Bhasin was arrested in May 2026. Earlier search operations in April 2025 seized incriminating documents, digital devices, and Rs 36 lakh cash, with a bank account frozen. Property worth Rs 27 crore was provisionally attached in June 2025.

The Hemisphere society in Greater Noida's Sector 27 experienced a 24-hour power cut from Tuesday 2pm until Wednesday around 2pm after a high-voltage internal cable fault. The diesel generator backup operated until 4am Wednesday; residents then struggled without water supply and non-functional lifts. Residents on upper floors had difficulty accessing groceries and supplies. The outage affected the commercial complex; traders reported losses including spoiled perishable food.
