DP World PGTI announced the 'Race to DP World India Championship' featuring nine tournaments with combined prize purse of Rs 10 crore, taking total prize purse to Rs 41 crore. The DP World India Championship is a $4 million event set for Delhi Golf Course from October 15 to 18. First three events (J&K Open, Coal India Open, Kolar Open) held in first three weeks of August. The Race concludes with inaugural Kapil Dev Invitational Tour Championship at Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida, September 30 – October 3. Top 24 players on Race standings earn spots for DP World India Championship 2026. Initiative aligns PGTI season with DP World Tour calendar, providing more playing opportunities for PGTI members.

The Royal Ranthambore BT Golf 2024-25 season opens at Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida on Saturday. Over 120 players expected, well above typical corporate tournaments. Participants include 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev, former cricketer Murali Kartik, and corporate leaders from travel, technology, finance, media, hospitality and real estate sectors. Notable attendees: Silverglades chairman Pradeep Jain and CEO Anubhav Jain, Wave Group MD Rajiv Gupta, MG Motors CCO Gaurav Gupta, Colliers India MD Ravi Shankar Singh, Grant Thornton Bharat chief Vishesh Chandiok, and diplomats from Australia, Indonesia, and South Africa. The par-72 Greg Norman-designed course recently hosted the senior European Tour. Seven-city season runs until March 2025, co-powered by IndianOil XP100 and Bandhan Mutual Fund. Maximum handicap allowance 24. Scoring on Stableford points system with 3/4 handicap. Shotgun start at 12:30 pm.

The 2024-25 season of the Royal Ranthambore presents Business Today Golf tournament begins at Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida on December 7, 2024, with six further events through March 2025.

Jaypee Greens now features 18 floodlit holes. Tournament schedule: Mumbai (January 17), Chandigarh (January 25), Kolkata (February 8), Hyderabad (February 22), Bengaluru (March 22), Pune (March 29).

The 25th edition attracts business leaders and corporate executives. Previous participants include former SEBI chairman G.N. Bajpai, Accenture MD Ajay Vij, Google's Gaurav Dev Burman, and Nissin MD Gautam Sharma. Participation by women golfers has increased over the last two years. Interactive golf clinics return as a feature.

Jaypee Greens Golf Course in Greater Noida hosted the Night Golf Festival from November 5-7, 2024. The festival was inaugurated by Kapil Dev and featured 350 golfers competing on India's golf course.

Around 75 life members of Boomerang – The Club, C'est la vie at Jaypee Greens Wish Town in Sector 128, Noida have accused Jaypee Associates Ltd of converting a private members-only club into a commercial facility without approval or notification.

The Boomerang Club was planned as a premium three-storey facility across 50,000 square feet for township residents. Only two floors were developed before inauguration last year. Members allege the developer introduced spa, gaming zone, conference rooms, and cafe services for non-members.

Members claim the land was originally earmarked for an exclusive recreational club but is now used for commercial activities open to outsiders. They question how a commercial complex was developed in place of the proposed members-only club, noting it does not appear in the approved Master Plan.

Residents' demands include: disclosure of written approval from competent authority for commercial construction, details of maintenance funds collected, completion of all three floors reserved only for members, and appointment of single authorised representative for communications.

Life membership fees have risen sharply: Rs 10 lakh in 2013 to Rs 26 lakh in 2026. Original amenities advertised included swimming pool, gym, golf access, banquet hall, restaurants, meeting rooms, health and wellness facilities, coffee house, and bar.

Jaypee Wish Town is a premium residential township along Noida-Greater Noida Expressway with golf-linked apartments, villas, and high-rise towers. Jaypee Associates entered insolvency in 2017 due to mounting debt and project delays. National Company Law Tribunal approved Rs 14,535-crore resolution plan by Adani Enterprises for Jaiprakash Associates Ltd earlier this year.
