The operation began around 8 am on June 8, 2026. After nearly five hours, the mosque portion collapsed. Six to seven bulldozers were assembled near the site; trucks later carried away sludge, concrete, steel bars and other debris. Police maintained barricades and restricted access, including for media, which watched from about 250 metres away.

The mosque was a five-storey structure. More than 3,000 police personnel and RAF units were deployed. Internet services across Jaipur North and Jaipur East police station areas were suspended until midnight on June 9, and gatherings of five or more were prohibited. Electricity was cut during the operation; residents also reported mobile-network failures.
