My family has lived in the same locality since 1950. The population has increased with a couple of companies being run in the area like Medreich (Kanfa labs as the property was earlier called). ITC in the vicinity was a tobacco manufacturing unit, now they make biscuits,garments etc and a part of the land is used as IT park. However,its still a nice place,minus the trees that used to dot both sides of the road.The old timers are still a decent lot.
