The ninth AM-NGS Property Expo opens September 26 at 10 am at Shri Shivshakti Convention Centre near Vaishnodevi Circle on SG Highway. The two-day event runs until 7.30 pm on September 26 and 27; entry is free. It will feature 31 stalls representing more than 20 builders and over 150 residential and commercial properties from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and nearby areas. Options include 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments, bungalows, luxury villas, weekend homes, residential plots and commercial spaces, priced from around ₹50 lakh to ₹10 crore. Eligible spot bookings can receive discounts of up to ₹10 lakh on both days. Locations include Jagatpur, Zundal, Gota, Adalaj, Chandkheda, Vaishnodevi Circle, SP Ring Road, Viramgam, Gandhinagar and Sargasan. Home-loan information and hourly lucky draws with gift hampers are planned. Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel is chief guest; Ahmedabad Mayor Hitesh Barot, Vejalpur MLA Amit Thakar and former MP Narhari Amin are guests of honour. Participating developers include Deep Builders, Sangath IPL, Swagat Group, A.G. Group, Shri Ramji Ayodhya Group, Navkar Heights, Parshwanath Corporation, Shiv Shaligram Group, Shyam Soham Group, Ganesh Group and Shyona Group.

AMC will e-auction nine plots acquired under Town Planning schemes on October 15-16. Five plots auctioned October 15, four on October 16. Localities: Sola, Gota, Ambli, Jagatpur, Ranip, Hanspura. Expected revenue: ₹1,001 crore. Largest property: Plot No. 96 (TP-109) in Hanspura, 41,843 sq m, upset price ₹71,000 per sq m, expected to fetch ₹297 crore. Registration deadline: October 12. Bidding deadline: October 14. Revenue to fund drinking water, sewerage, roads, streetlights, stormwater drainage, parks, libraries, civic centres, fire stations.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee returned two Engineering Department proposals after officials failed to clarify tendering and cost questions. The Water Committee had approved both.

• Chenpur lake, Chenpur village, Ranip ward: the Drainage Project Department tender combined garden development and civil works. Neelkanth Landscape Associate was the lowest bidder at ₹14.12 crore. Chairman Kamlesh Patel questioned the combined contract and tender process; the committee returned the proposal.
• Chandlodia ward: pothole and damaged storm-water and drainage-line repairs were proposed in Jagatpur, Tragad, Chharodi, Nakoda and other areas. The North-West Zone Engineering Department based its estimate of around ₹1 crore on the 2009-10 Schedule of Rates. Sangam Engineers was the lowest of three contractors, quoting ₹94.51 lakh. The price bid opened in August 2025, but the proposal reached the Standing Committee later. The committee sought explanations for the delay and use of the 16-year-old rates, and returned the proposal. AMC is expected to provide further explanations and documents before both proposals are reconsidered.

• Ahmedabad’s North and South corridors are attracting value-conscious buyers, luxury seekers and long-term investors as prices rise in established western areas including Bodakdev, Thaltej, Prahladnagar and Science City.
• North Ahmedabad’s demand is linked to GIFT City’s growth as an IFSC attracting banking, technology and financial institutions, as well as the SP Ring Road and Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2. Connectivity serves Sanand and Changodar industrial zones, central business districts, Gandhinagar’s Electronic Estate and SG Highway offices.
• Key northern localities are Gota, Chandkheda, Zundal, Motera, Jagatpur and Chharodi. Gota has mid-premium 2BHK and 3BHK apartments, established roads, water distribution and AUDA municipal coverage. Chandkheda offers established schools, colleges, hypermarkets and healthcare; Zundal has newer developments and rental demand from professionals.
• Motera’s profile is linked to the world’s largest cricket stadium. Jagatpur and Chharodi have premium, low-density 3BHK, 4BHK and sky-villa developments. Aristo Anantam Chharodi is cited as an example.
• South Bopal and Vasna are among the southern growth localities; the SP Ring Road connects the corridor to Changodar, Sanand and Aslali.
