Division bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice GM Mohiuddin dismissed PIL filed by Kukkala Krishna alleging encroachment and illegal construction by M/s Vertex Developers LLP in connection with Vertex KLR GIGA CITI project at Tukkuguda Airport View Point. Petitioner claimed developer had encroached on 97 acres of land belonging to Airport Authority of India and was carrying out illegal constructions in survey numbers of Mankhal village, Tukkuguda Municipality, Maheshwaram mandal, Rangareddy. Petitioner alleged permissions were obtained from HMDA, RERA and other departments. Court found pleadings incomplete and suffering from serious ambiguity, noting petition failed to specify exact parcels of land allegedly encroached, relevant survey numbers, or statutory authorities that granted construction permissions.

KTR, along with former ministers T Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Sabita Indra Reddy, BRS MLAs and MLCs visited Tukkuguda site near Bharat Future City on 11 Sep 2026. KTR questioned the state government's allotment of land valued at Rs 250 crore to Tesseract Advanced Systems for Rs 7 crore, describing it as a steep discount to market value. He alleged links between the company and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's family, and questioned whether the transaction amounted to abuse of power and conflict of interest. KTR demanded the government make all transaction details public. He also questioned the BJP-led Centre and agencies including ED, Income Tax department and CBI over alleged inaction. KTR alleged the government was promoting a real estate business under the name Future City and questioned the use of land originally acquired for the proposed Pharma City for other purposes. He said BRS legislators had been suspended from the Assembly when they sought to raise the issue. KTR challenged the government to extend similar land allotments and concessions to ordinary citizens, farmers and young entrepreneurs. He stated the BRS party would continue its campaign with village-level meetings across Rangareddy district and explore legal and democratic avenues, urging media to examine legal and financial implications of the Future City project.
