Deoband is now a city and if future development is done then it is one of best place in U.P. It is well connected with railways and G.T. Road. All the basic amenities are available in Deoband - school, university, clubs, hotels. There is only one negative, that is sugar mills. Govt should stop this mill because of high fumes from chimneys and causes pollution around boundary of railway station.
Deoband has a good market of fruits, vegetables, pulses, wheat, milk, etc.

• It is centrally located better than Saharanpur.

Cons

• Deoand has only one negative point, i.e. its sugar mill. This mill will be closed soon.
• This mill causes air pollution by its smoke and causes health problems and ruins the fertile land.
