Ramprastha colony is self contained in all respect, located just 2 Km from Anand Vihar ISBT, Metro and Railway terminal. It is freehold land near Sahibabad Industrial area. It is close to East Delhi colonies like Vivek Vihar, Shahadra, Savita Vihar, shrestha Vihar etc.

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Ramprastha Group director Sandeep Yadav and promoter Arvind Walia in a ₹1,100 crore money-laundering case and attached immovable properties worth ₹681.54 crore belonging to Ramprastha Promoters & Developers Pvt. Ltd and group companies. It searched their residential and business premises at three locations in Delhi and Gurugram under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

The attached assets include 226 acres of plotted colonies at Ramprastha City in Gurugram’s Sectors 37D, 92 and 95, and 1,700 acres in Basai, Gadoli Kalan, Hayatpur and Wazipur.

The ED said the company collected about ₹1,100 crore from more than 2,000 homebuyers for Project Edge, Project Skyz, Project Rise and Ramprastha City. Promoters allegedly diverted funds to group companies as land-purchase advances rather than completing homes. Flats and plots remain undelivered 15–20 years later. The case stems from multiple Delhi and Haryana Police Economic Offences Wing FIRs based on homebuyer complaints. The investigation is ongoing.
