Ram Nagar is a very prime commercial hub , heart of Coimbatore city, posh locality, comprising mixed zone (residential, commercial & industrial) the price differs according to the zone! Very high rental income generating location. High floating population.

Multiple stretches dug simultaneously without prior traffic diversion alerts. Key roads affected: Brooke Bond Road, Shastri Road, Kikani Junction, railway underpass. Motorists stranded over 30 minutes on stretches normally taking 5 minutes. Emergency vehicles struggled to navigate congestion. Local shopkeepers reported sharp drop in customer footfall. Residents expressed frustration over lack of coordination and planning. Emergency vehicle access reportedly hindered.
