Bank of India inaugurated a new branch at Pathardi Phata on March 7. Located at A Wing, Vraj Capital, next to GP Mithai. Deputy General Manager Laganjit Das, Divisional Manager Mahesh Kanwinde and Sub-Divisional Manager Satish Bharadi attended the inauguration. Services offered: savings and current accounts, fixed deposits, home loans, vehicle loans, education loans, personal loans, business loans, digital banking, mobile and internet banking, ATM services, UPI payments.

Nashik’s Simhastha Kumbh runs from October 31, 2026, to July 24, 2027; nearly 3 crore devotees attended in 2015. The municipal corporation’s Rs 1,230–1,400 crore programme covers 28 roads spanning about 120 km and four bridges, with 18 contractors. Concrete surfacing was due to start in October, with most work targeted for December 2026 and a March 2027 deadline. A single underground duct will carry utilities; Mahanagar Natural Gas is barred from unapproved road digging for two years.

The state’s 66 km ring road has Rs 3,954 crore in sanctioned civil works and a total project value above Rs 7,600 crore. The four-lane road, expandable to six lanes, includes 29 underpasses and seven viaducts; all seven packages are under construction, targeting March 2027. About Rs 2,270 crore is earmarked for regional roads, including Nashik–Trimbak Road (Rs 350 crore), Nashik–Dindori–Vani Road (Rs 100 crore) and Janori–Ozar airport road (Rs 50 crore).

Median asking prices rose from Rs 4,500/sq ft in March 2026 to Rs 5,100 in June. Nasik West rose nearly 13% year-on-year; East and South barely moved. Nasik West 2 BHK rents average Rs 25,000 monthly; city averages are Rs 11,300 for a 1 BHK and Rs 14,000 for a 2 BHK. Gangapur Road, Panchavati, Adgaon, Trimbak Road and Nashik Road are highlighted for property and rental demand.

Nashik may get a 58-km Metro network costing ₹14,520 crore. The first phase proposes two corridors: Gangapur village–Nashik Road and Mumbai Naka–Pathardi Phata. A third route would connect Ambad with Nashik Airport over 23 km and is proposed for implementation by 2046. Nashik was earlier considered for a ₹2,092 crore Neo Metro project announced in the 2021–22 Union Budget.

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (Maha Metro) has proposed a 58-km mass rapid transit network for Nashik in its draft Comprehensive Mobility Plan, replacing the earlier 32-km Metro Neo plan, estimated at ₹2,000 crore. The draft is under stakeholder consultation and aims to plan for growth through 2056.

The proposed corridors are Gangapur–Nashik Road Railway Station (21.5 km), Gangapur–Mumbai Naka–Pathardi Phata (13.58 km), and Ozar Airport Road–Mumbai Naka/Pathardi Phata–Ambad (23 km). The first two corridors are projected to carry about 11,000 passengers per hour each during peak periods.

The plan also proposes 131 km of footpaths, 88 km of cycle tracks and a 13.95-km non-motorised corridor along the Godavari, estimated to cost ₹28 crore. Its phases cover Chandwadkar Road–Tapovan in Panchavati (4.95 km), Anandvalli–Chandwadkar Road (3.4 km), and Gangapur village–Anandvalli plus Tapovan–Jail Road (5.6 km). The draft includes traffic planning for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela. Departments have seven days to submit suggestions, followed by public consultation; officials expect to submit the final plan to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis by September 2026.
