After nearly four decades of poor conditions, Ambad Industrial Estate has begun receiving concrete roads. Foundation stone laid for roads from Power House to CG Lucy, Ganga Vihar and Gangamai, in presence of AIMA President Rajendra Pansare, MLA Seema Hiray and dignitaries. 36 km of main roads to be concreted with ₹16 crore approved funding. AIMA has demanded remaining 21 km of internal roads be taken up. Pansare noted improved roads would ease transportation for industries and workers, and called for an industrial cluster with modern facilities and use of Kumbh Mela funds for industrial infrastructure.
