User interface enabled through mobile app, QR code, RFID card and payment options. Move aligned with Delhi government plan to accelerate electric vehicle adoption and convert entire public bus fleet to e-buses to curb air pollution. DTC previously started work in November for charging infrastructure at nine bus depots at Rohini Sector 37, Keshopur, Nangloi, Kalkaji, Sukhdev Vihar, Nand Nagri, Ghazipur and Hasanpur. DTC aims to transition entire bus fleet to e-vehicles by end of year.

The previous week, the court had declined relief sought by AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in a public interest litigation against proposed demolitions of illegal constructions in Batla House. The Supreme Court had ordered the DDA on May 7 to demolish unauthorised structures in the area.
