Noida Authority’s board meeting next week will consider a mixed land-use property scheme, with the number of plots, sizes and rates to be finalised. It will also discuss the Authority’s budget and planned land-rate increase. Last year, allotment rates rose 6% across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional categories, and the Authority approved a budget of ₹8,732 crore.

The meeting will decide whether a proposed Centre of Excellence at Gautam Buddha University (GBU) will research semiconductors or stem cells. Noida CEO Krishna Karunesh said the focus would be finalised at the meeting. GBU will manage the project and Noida Authority will fund it. GBU, which opened to students in 2008, is fully funded by the Noida and Greater Noida authorities.

YEIDA is developing semiconductor parks in Sectors 10 and 28 near the upcoming Noida International Airport.

At Botanical Garden, passengers can interchange with the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line (Noida City Centre–Dwarka Sector 21) and Magenta Line (Janakpuri West–Botanical Garden), which provides airport access. The corridor will serve commercial centres Advant Business Park (Sector 142), Skymark One Mall (Sector 98) and Mall of Noida (Sector 93); corporate offices including Microsoft (Sector 145), TCS (Sector 157), Infosys, Adobe and Oracle (Sectors 132, 135 and 127); Amity University (Sector 125); and Max Super Specialty Hospital (Sector 128). The project aims to improve access to residential and business areas, reduce congestion and travel times, and cut carbon emissions. Narendra Modi said the extension would boost ease of living and Noida’s development.
