Noida Authority finalises land settlement for Wave Mega City Centre, developer surrenders 5 lakh sqm of originally allocated 6.2 lakh sqm.
Key facts
A decade-long deadlock over prime land in Noida's heart is settled with Noida Authority finalising land surrender and reallocation for Wave Mega City Centre Pvt Ltd under UP's project settlement policy. Developer originally allotted 6.2 lakh sqm in sectors 25A and 32 in 2011. Following state government and Authority board approvals on September 26, developer surrendered 5 lakh sqm and retained 1.2 lakh sqm. Noida Authority plans to use reclaimed land for commercial development under mixed-use category and has asked planning department to prepare layout integrating area with surrounding infrastructure.
