The Delhi Metro Violet Line runs from the Badarpur border through Faridabad to Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh). The section to Escorts Mujesar opened in late 2015; the Ballabhgarh extension opened in late 2018. The line is fully operational, with travel time described as about 30 minutes, compared with a former two-hour bus commute. Stations on this stretch are elevated; 95% of components are described as locally made, and many station roofs have solar panels. Stations also have CCTV and emergency systems, with accessibility features for elderly and differently abled passengers. Proposed improvements include more skywalks and feeder buses and e-rickshaws for last-mile access.

The Badarpur–Escorts Mujesar stretch cost about ₹2,500 crore: Haryana contributed about ₹1,557 crore, the Centre ₹537 crore, and DMRC funded the remainder through internal funds and loans. Properties near stations in Neharpar (Greater Faridabad) and other sectors reportedly gained 30%–50% in value. The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway also passes through Faridabad; malls, hospitals and office complexes are emerging along the corridor, while companies are moving back offices and warehouses to the city.
