KPHB Housing Board Flats Sell for Record 1.10 Crore

Housing Board properties in KPHB Phase 1, 2 and 15 sold at record prices in auction, with flats fetching up to ₹1.10 crore and plots ₹2.65 lakh per sq. yd.

Plots and flats developed by Housing Board in KPHB sold at record prices in public auction on Friday. Four open plots in Dharma Reddy Colony (Phase-1 and Phase-2) and eight flats in Sampurnam Apartments (Phase-15) auctioned with around 40 buyers participating. Low Income Group plots had minimum price of ₹1.30 lakh per sq. yd but bids reached ₹2.65 lakh per sq. yd. Flats with upset price of ₹90 lakh sold between ₹1.06 crore and ₹1.10 crore; one 1,400 sq. ft flat fetched ₹1.10 crore. Housing Board earned ₹24.26 crore in total revenue: ₹15.81 crore from plots and ₹8.45 crore from flats. Vice-chairman V. P. Goutham noted auction was conducted transparently and reflected strong housing demand in KPHB area.
