AUDA approved a ₹3,119.83-crore budget for 2026-27, prioritising roads, drainage, sewage treatment and new town-planning schemes.
Key facts
- AUDA’s ₹3,119.83-crore budget for 2026-27 allocates ₹3,101.73 crore to infrastructure and announces three new town-planning schemes in Godhavi, ahead of facilities for the Commonwealth Games 2030.
- The authority will develop Godhavi TP Scheme No. 429 as a model, with cycle tracks, footpaths, street lighting, improved junctions, utility ducts, lakes, parks and gardens. AUDA will provide roads and drainage in new schemes before sanction and make land deductions in advance.
- The state approved residential (R2) zoning for prime agricultural areas in Manipur, Palodiya and Shilaj. AUDA is preparing corresponding schemes, including draft TP Scheme 244 (Manipur–Palodiya–Shilaj).
- ₹350 crore is set aside for drainage networks and sewage treatment plants in Khodiyar, Lilapur, Jaspur, Manipur, Sanand, Kaneti, Nidhrad, Ranasan, Karai, Aslali, Jetalpur, Badodara, Nandej, Barejadi and Geratnagar. Kalol TP schemes receive ₹100 crore for stormwater drainage.
- Sanand receives ₹150 crore for infrastructure and plans for a PPP sports complex. AUDA expects ₹1,300 crore from selling 50 plots next financial year; base prices will be finalised in March.
