Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan reviewed progress on major road projects across Bhubaneswar and adjoining areas, directing officials to expedite land acquisition, pending clearances and detailed project reports (DPRs).
Projects reviewed included the Raghunathpur–Trisulia elevated corridor, Studio Chhak–Nuagaon elevated road, Pipili–Konark road, and phases one and three of the Daya West Canal road development. Officials discussed new alignments for Bhubaneswar’s Inner and Outer Ring Roads, the long-pending Kalpana Square flyover and a proposed elevated road toward Puri.
Works Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh asked officials and chief engineers to resolve land acquisition issues, remove bottlenecks and complete pending DPRs for projects with administrative approval.
