Indira Nagar I live in A-Block and it is one of the most worst and worth place of Lucknow to live here. Power cut is on peak and you will be unable to watch any TV show continuously. You can not sleep peacefully at whole night. You can not enjoy rain because the power cuts as it starts raining. There are lack of trees. Roads are dirty. Parks are not maintained and so on.

Today's modern Indira Nagar was Ram Sagar Mishra Nagar way back in 1978 when it was Asia's biggest colony with plots, HIG, LIG and JANTA expandable one room houses. Today it is very difficult to find & recognize where JANTA, LIG & HIG houses are there, as so much modifications and improvements in architecture have been done for good. So many schools, nursing homes, hospitals & coaching institutions have come up during last 35 years. Public transport by way of auto riksha and city buses have come up. Hardly any vacant plot is available. Now it is fully developed modern colony and it has expanded also.
