"Gorwa" is famous in Vadodara. The calm and quiet area, everything available on walking distance, vadodara's famous cricket ground is just one KM away.

  • The road of six lane is proposed because of refinery & petrochemicals.

Six Radial Roads Planned to Connect Vadodara’s Outer Ring Road

Vadodara agencies plan six radial roads linking the 75-metre Outer Ring Road to western and eastern areas, with state approval of ₹316.78 crore.

Key facts

Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) and Vadodara Urban Development Authority (VUDA) plan six radial roads connecting the city’s eastern and western areas to the 75-metre Outer Ring Road, where work has started. Four western roads will connect the highway to Gorwa, Gotri, Bhayli and Sun Pharma Road; two eastern roads will link it to Ajwa Road and Waghodiya Road. VMC will develop three roads, VUDA two, and the agencies will jointly develop one.

Work has begun on two ring-road stretches: Koyli–Chapad in the west and Khatamba–Sikandarpura in the east. They will initially be 45 metres wide and together span 27.58 km. The planned ring road totals 66 km. Gujarat has approved ₹316.78 crore for construction under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. The ring road was discussed since 2006 and received a major funding push last year.
