Water receded after the rain, but traffic disruption continued. Officials said these areas flood regularly. Vent work at Geddalahalli has reduced flooding in Sai Layout and Vaddarapalya; the corporation is pursuing Railway Department work on underpasses at Hoodi and Panathur. Trees and branches fell in Indiranagar and HAL 2nd Stage and were cleared. Traffic was also affected across numerous routes, including Airport Road, Koramangala Inner Ring Road and HBR Layout Main Road in Nagavara. GKVK recorded 52.5 mm, Chikkaballapur 42.5 mm, HAL Airport 5.3 mm and KIA 3.8 mm. The IMD forecast more rain in south-interior and coastal Karnataka on Tuesday.
