One of the main location of old Bhopal city, an important area for commercial & transportation activities, you can find a lot of shops engaged in sale of auto parts, agriculture equipment. Very densely populated with narrow streets. You can find mostly the people who belongs to Bhopal from a longtime & can find a culture or communal harmony as both Hindus & Muslims live together with brotherhood & mutual cooperation.

Market, hospitals, hotels, banks all are available in this area

Cons
Very densely populated, traffic jam is common due to narrow streets & heavy load of vehicles
Pollution & lack of greenery

Increases also in Yashoda Nagar, Bhopal Talkies to Safia Road, Malipura, Maya Vihar, Pal Vihar, Ret Ghat to VIP Road, Kabarkhana, Gautam Nagar, Panchsheel Nagar, New Market, Roshanpura, Sevania Gond, Chowki Barkhedi, Aerocity Complex, Behta, Damkheda. Bhopal PWD will build a drainage nullah from Alpana Tiraha to Bharat Talkies to address waterlogging near the railway station.

The Public Works Department will construct a nullah from Alpana Tiraha to Bharat Talkies to address waterlogging in the Alpana Tiraha area of Hamidia Road near Platform No. 6 of Bhopal Railway Station, which accumulates heavy water during monsoon. The Bhopal Municipal Corporation will clean the railway nullah running from Platform No. 6 to Platform No. 1. Nine railway tracks cross the nullah; Railways must widen and clean it for proper rainwater and sewage exit. The drainage project will channel rainwater to Patra Nullah. PWD previously constructed a new cement concrete road from Alpana Tiraha to Bhopal Talkies. The area experiences severe waterlogging even after brief rain. MP Alok Sharma inspected the area and discussed the project with DRM Devashish Tripathi, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, and BMC Commissioner Harendra Narain. The district collector directed PWD to submit construction estimates within three days. PWD and railway officials are preparing an MoU for nullah construction.
