Nautilus, a 70 by 13 feet, 24,000 square foot two-storey passenger cruise, opened in BBD Bagh during Durga Puja on September 26, 2025. Anchored in the Ganges, it rotates 360 degrees on tides and currents. Owner Ayan Banerjee, a marine captain, designed it as a unique dining and entertainment venue where guests can book individual tickets rather than charter entire boats.
The vessel features a nightclub and hookah bar on the first floor; upper deck has cabana-style seating and open-air lounge. Plans include live seafood counters with fresh preparation.
Menu: Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, fusion. Dishes include lobster, river fresh bhetki in fish kalia, daab chingri, mahi mahi in kasundi, pizza, pasta, Thai curries, baked roshogolla, Japanese cheesecake. Special occasion thalis ₹1,300–₹1,500. Bar offers Don Julio, GH Mumm, Martini, margarita, gimlet, liqueurs.
Location: Fairley Place 1, BBD Bagh. Price for two approximately ₹1,800–₹2,000. No cover charges. Ferry exclusively reserved for patrons; safety measures being implemented including net covering and bouncers on return ferry.
