Hundreds of people who bought sites are now in trouble. BDA failed to fully develop the land and submit required documents to court.

Around 350 site owners affected. Many have already constructed buildings and paid property tax to BDA. One site owner paid Rs 80 lakh for a 30x40 site over a year ago; original landowner now claims land ownership and prevents construction.

Site allottees cannot construct dream homes until court petition is disposed. BDA cannot allot alternative sites to victims until final court judgment. Site owners plan to submit memorandum to government seeking legal protection of their interests.
