Krisala Developers launched “Zameen Se Rishta,” a campaign featuring actor, musician and lyricist Piyush Mishra for Land of Dreams, its 63-acre plotted development in Vadgaon Lonavala Growth Corridor. The poetry-led film runs for 1 minute 34 seconds and focuses on the freedom and possibilities of owning land. The project is near the upcoming Swaminarayan Temple.

Krisala’s Head of Marketing, Pratik Wani, said Land of Dreams had received 150 bookings since launch. Prices start at ₹54.99 lakh. The campaign film is live on YouTube, with wider promotion on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

NHAI, Pune Municipal Corporation and Reliance officials jointly inspected the service road between Navale Chowk and Bhumkar Chowk amid complaints of poor conditions, encroachments, illegal parking and traffic congestion. Corporator Haridas Charwad gave officials 15 days to start work, warning of a sit-in at Navale Bridge or Veer Baji Pasalkar Chowk if they do not.

Demands include connecting the service road near Narhe crematorium to the highway and extending a parallel road to Bhumkar Chowk, with retaining walls and exits where needed. Officials said work on the proposed underpass at Bhumkar Chowk would be expedited; its technical review is complete and it is about 15 metres wide. Further underpasses or lanes were also sought.

Other demands include removing encroachments at Navale Chowk, widening the road near Aashirwad Hotel by removing an unnecessary storm drain within 15 days, and preparing a new traffic plan at Vishwas Hotel Chowk by next Thursday. Road widening under Veer Baji Pasalkar Chowk bridge, separate parking near Vadgaon Budruk crematorium, and planned parking for passenger vehicles were also sought.

Pune’s residential market remained active in the first half of 2026, with housing demand expanding across established and emerging corridors, including Sinhgad Road–Vadgaon. The corridor’s access to educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail outlets and other civic amenities supports its emergence as a residential destination.

PMC has initiated land acquisition for proposed road network connecting Sinhagad Road and Kharadi, with completion expected by November-end. Bridge connecting Sinhagad Road and Kharadi in final stage. Land proposed for acquisition: 36-metre Development Plan road from Kharadi towards Mahalakshmi Lawns and proposed Javalkar Udyan, and 30-metre DP road between Kharadi Ambedkar Chowk and Javalkar Udyan. Land acquisition area: approximately 9,700 sq m (7,600 sq m for 36-metre road; 2,100 sq m for 30-metre road). Estimated acquisition expenditure: ₹90.50 crore. Amount deposited: ₹27.14 crore (30% of estimated amount) with Special Land Acquisition Officer-II, Pune. PMC to initiate Section 19 notification and declare final award. Additional Municipal Commissioner stated project will provide alternative route for traffic between Sinhagad Road, Kharadi and Vadgaon, reducing congestion. District Collector directed PMC to complete proposal by December-end.

MSEDCL maintenance at the Vadgaon water treatment plant will temporarily halt operations from 12 noon to 2 PM on July 31, 2025, causing low water pressure in Hingne, Dhayari, Katraj, Ambegaon, Anandnagar, Vadgaon and surrounding areas. Other affected localities include Dattnagar, Dhanakwadi, Bharati Vidyapeeth campus, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd and Budruk, Yewalewadi, Sahakarnagar (Part 2), Ambedkarnagar, Tilaknagar and the area near Date bus stop. Santosh Nagar, Satchaimata Tank area, Sunda Mata Nagar, Wonder City, Morebag, Balajinagar, Kedareshwar Tank area, both sectors of Sukh Sagar Nagar, and parts of old wards 38 and 41 may also face reduced pressure. Pune Municipal Corporation advised residents to conserve water and store it in advance if needed.
