Timarpur is basically a location near vishvwidyalye metro station which is near delhi University north campus and it is almost around half kilometres away from gate no. 1 vishvwidyalye metro Station .
This place is basically mainly for government quarters ,with that it has private properties as well .
There are mainly two marketing area ,one is old market nad another one is new market .these two markets are shop cum residential spaces .

Timarpur is mainly a residential area. Its an old society. It is close to Vishwavidyalaya metro station, Delhi University, and Civil lines. It has an old market near to the flats which is approx 100 years old. The nearest good market to the locality which has all the brands is Kamla nagar. The locality consists of mainly government flats. It also has a very posh enclosed colony named Banarsi Dass Estate, which consists of approx 108 big bungalows. The size of the bungalows vary from 300 sq yard to 1000 sq yard. It is called the colony of "Richy Richs".
