Potholes, waterlogging and pipeline excavation have made routes near several Ranchi schools difficult and risky for hundreds of students and parents.

Potholes, waterlogged or slippery stretches and unfinished road excavation near several Ranchi schools are making daily commutes difficult and raising accident concerns for hundreds of students and parents.

A pipeline project left a large stretch of the approach road to Surendranath Centenary School and Cluny Convent High School dug up for several days. It was filled on August 6, 2026, but remained slippery and difficult to walk on.
