Sector 22 is the oldest sector of Chandigarh & considered the heart of Chandigarh. This is very densely populated sector in Chandigarh. The sector consist of Residential & more commercial area around it. There are Schools, Inner-market, Outer market, Shastri Market (Cheap Market), Dispensary, Veterinary hospital, police station, hotels, restaurants, temples, Gurudwaras, etc.

Pros:
  • The Sector is a prime location on Chandigarh Map.
  • This is highly dense area.
  • The Sector is a complete commercial hub.
Cons:
  • The sector is crowded.

Sector 22 is a very good location for offices and retails.
There are Jewellery markets in Sector 22, Chandigarh. The Mobile market and photography market is also in the same sector and opposite of Sector 17 bus stand.
