Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) attached properties of 12 major tax defaulters on Thursday across two wards. In Ward 83 (Zone 18), 10 properties were sealed in Arera Colony and MP Nagar, including commercial properties in Kamdhenu Tower, Chetak Complex, Ambar Complex, Mansarovar Complex and Vaishali Complex. In Ward 45 (Zone 18), two properties were sealed. Property dues ranged from Rs 39,323 to Rs 2.15 lakh. Specific cases: Ratan Prasad of Rajharsh Colony, Shahi Hi-Tech City, owed Rs 33.05 lakh; Brahmanand Patidar of Mukul Heritage, Sankhedi, owed Rs 26.41 lakh. Other defaulters included M L Gaur, Jatinder Kaur, R N Panda, Shashibala Srivastava and Sunil Gaur. All defaulters were served bills and notices before attachment proceedings were initiated.
