Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone for the second phase of a ₹12.03 crore road-widening project in Sahaspur, Dehradun district. The 10-km phase covers Mithiberry to Chandni Chowk via Parwal and Parwal to Vigyan Dham in Jhajhra, aiming to improve traffic flow and connectivity.

Dhami also announced a drinking-water tubewell in Bhauwala; a drainage channel from Daru Chowk to the Keshavwala river; a cremation ground near Arcadia Barowala Park; embankment and road construction from Asanpur to the cremation ground; river embankments in Umedpur and Parwal; protection works in Barowala municipal ward 93; and a cremation-ground road and erosion-prevention embankment in Paundha.

Dhami said Uttarakhand’s economy had grown 26 times, the state budget exceeded ₹1 lakh crore, power generation had quadrupled and reverse migration had risen 44%. The government is preparing 10,000–12,000 recruitments in the current financial year.
