M.S. Dhoni Constructs Lavish Farmhouse in Ranchi
A luxurious farmhouse equipped with state-of-the-art amenities is currently under construction in Kanthitar, Ranchi. This farmhouse is being developed for none other than M.S. Dhoni, the esteemed captain of the Indian Cricket Team. Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is already renowned as the home of this celebrated cricketer, who is deeply admired by its residents.
Dhoni is constructing a new farmhouse.
Adjacent to Dhoni's under-construction farmhouse was a one-acre plot owned by Ranchi resident Lal Gopal Sharan Nath Shahdeo. Driven by profound admiration for the cricketing icon, Shahdeo decided to gift the plot to him. A close associate of Dhoni shared that, due to their existing family friendship, he couldn't decline the generous offer. Shahdeo, importantly, is the heir of Ratu Maharaj. Interestingly, despite the land being a gift, the official registry deed categorized the transfer as a sale.

Ranchi district sub-registrar, Shahdeo Mehra, clarified that the plot, located a kilometer from NH 75, isn't exorbitantly priced, and the transaction was indeed registered as a sale. Dhoni, along with his parents, Pan Singh and Devki Devi, now have three plots registered in their names at the registrar’s office.
The farmhouse project will boast an array of amenities, including multiple game pools, a swimming pool, a comprehensive gymnasium, and a dedicated photo gallery showcasing a variety of sports. A close associate of Dhoni, responsible for overseeing the project in his absence, affirmed that the farmhouse is being meticulously crafted with an assortment of facilities, with the aim of completing it expeditiously. Currently, the project is approximately halfway complete. Notably, Dhoni currently resides in Harmu Housing Colony, in a home situated on a plot gifted to him by the government.
