The station serves Kukatpally, Balaji Nagar, MJ Colony, Vivek Nagar, IDL Lake and Balanagar, with nearby Omni and Ankura hospitals, Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple, New Government Junior College and Degree College, EPFO and Kukatpally Police Station.

The station has Arms A–D: Arms A and B serve Miyapur X Roads, while C and D serve Balanagar X Roads. Paid two- and four-wheeler parking is at Arm C. Heavy overnight rain inundated the century-old Balamrai pump house in Secunderabad, choking British-era machinery with mud and water and halting pumping across large parts of the Cantonment. Nearly one lakh residents relying on the facility, including those in Picket, Mudfort and Balamrai, face shortages over the next two days, SCB water superintendent S. Raj Kumar said.

Secunderabad Cantonment Board water-wing officials began restoration work on Thursday morning. Tankers are being deployed until supply resumes. Engineers are drying the motors and working to reconnect power; further rain could delay repairs. The facility has flooded repeatedly, including during a major disruption in 2020. Officials said its age and imported design complicate restoration. With the IMD warning of more rain, SCB officials have kept tankers on standby.
